Makalah yang baik dan benar4/6/2024 Data were collected using test, observation, and questionnaire. It was done at the French Education Department of Language and Art Faculty of Yogyakarta, in the Writing IV ( Expression Ecrite IV ) class. The research study was a class room action research consisting of two cycles. The subjects’ of the study were 15 students who took Writing IV ( Expression Ecrite IV) and the lecturer of the subject. The research design of this study was an action research. This study was intended to increase the writing skill of Students of French Education Department of Language and Art Faculty of Yogyakarta State University by using task-based learning method in Expression Ecrite IV teaching. The use of task-based learning method for increasing student s’ writing skill.
